When a KU/LGE pledge is created automatically at the time of approval, the pledge number is locked to that specific application.
If the pledge number is reused on another application, you will receive the "Application Number does not match LGE-KU number" error back during validation ("Submit to Vendor").
The most common scenario is that the original application was voided and the pledge number from the first application is reused (manually entered) on a new approved application.
Steps to fix:
- Create a new pledge on the client's account by calling KU/LGE or going to KU/LGE's website (portal). This cannot be done through CASTiNET.
- Cancel the old pledge.
- Click change application on the Service Overview Page and select "Manually edit Pledge". Enter the new pledge number and reason. Click Save
- Go through the normal process of adding the application to a transmittal and re-submitting it to KU/LGE
